Surf in Mexico provides a fun, professional, courteous and 100% bilingual service with an emphasis on water safety and surf ethics. We aim to bring a level of fun and safety to our lessons, through friendly encouragement, local knowledge and expert instruction. Each lesson is personally designed to teach you the art of surfing and enhance your skill level. It is our goal to give you the finest quality lesson and an authentic surf experience at a fair price. Classes are 2 hours. Surfboards, rash guards, booties and fresh bottled water are provided.
Our goal is to make you feel comfortable in the water and to get you standing on your first wave. The first part of the lesson consists of a 20 minute beach-based surf instruction covering safety basics and techniques for paddling, standing up and dismount. The second part of the lesson we introduce you to the waves, in a safe and easy manner with close supervision.
Our goal is to advance your skill level. We will teach you different techniques for riding waves with an emphasis on proper paddling technique, equipment choice, surf ethics, wave selection and maximizing your wave count per session.
Our goal is to introduce you to more secluded, better quality waves, chosen for your skill level and personal preference with an emphasis on equipment choice. We will introduce you to local area surf breaks selected by tide, wind and swell direction.

Get to know our area
In the 1960s, California surfers migrated south and found the quiet, long arching bay of Sayulita with its now infamous left and right point breaks. Sayulita has slowly become one of the pre-eminent surf destinations in Mexico, known for its small streets, friendly vibes and bohemian character.
Punta de Mita
Punta Mita is the north end of the Bay of Banderas. A string of miles of white, sandy beaches and coves, punctuated with several word-class surf breaks, each with its own personality and skill level. Largely undeveloped and secluded, Punta de Mita offers visitors a relaxing and quiet atmosphere.
